Marketing Communications Manager

This was my first time working on a political campaign. I was excited to work for a woman candidate and help raise her awareness among the voters. I was responsible for managing the candidate’s social media, emails and graphic design.

  • Managed multiple social media accounts, including content creation (copy, graphics, videos), editorial calendar and community management, growing engagement by 50% and following by 150%

  • Conceptualized a social media video campaign, “I’ve been there,” to communicate the candidate’s story to voters

  • Increased web traffic by 150% through integrated campaigns, and writing relevant and inclusive content


“I’ve Been There” Social Media Campaign

The “I’ve been there” campaign was conceived, created and edited at my creative discretion. I worked closely with the communications director to craft the narrative. This short video tells the inspiring life story of Lt. Gov. Donna Lynne and made her a compassionate and relatable candidate to the Colorado voters.
